SIP ON A STRAWBERRY YOGURT SMOOTHIE!
I make this strawberry yogurt smoothie all the time, especially when I’m out of bananas. Most smoothies lean on banana for that creamy texture, but this one does just fine without it. Just strawberries, Greek yogurt, a splash of milk, and a little honey to bring it all together.
It’s simple and easy to tweak depending on what I have in the fridge. Fresh or frozen strawberries both work great, and I usually adjust the honey based on how sweet the berries are that day.
Happy Cooking!

Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie Ingredients
- Strawberries: Use fresh strawberries with the hull removed. You can cut them in half for easier blending.
- Greek yogurt: I recommend 2%, which is lighter than whole milk Greek yogurt, but still creamy and flavorful.
- Milk: Any milk will do, but whole milk and 2% will give your smoothie a creamier texture.
- Honey: You can also use agave syrup. Adjust the amount to suit your taste!
How to Make Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie
Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups strawberries fresh or frozen
- 1 cup 2% Greek yogurt
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy, about 60–120 seconds.
- Taste the smoothie. Add more milk if it's too thick, or more sweetener if you like. Enjoy immediately or store in fridge for up to 24 hours.

Nutrition
Nutrition information provided is an estimate. It will vary based on cooking method and specific ingredients used.
Recipe Variations
- Go plant-based: Full-fat oat milk is a great creamy substitute for dairy milk. Almond milk and soy milk work well, too. To make this smoothie fully vegan, swap in dairy-free yogurt and agave syrup or pure maple syrup.
- Add protein powder: Pour in a scoop of protein powder for an extra boost.
- Mix up the berries: Substitute some of the strawberries with blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries. You may want to adjust the amount of honey, depending on the sweetness of your berries.
- Add a handful of greens: Include baby spinach or kale for even more nutrition. The color will fade, but your smoothie will still taste great!
Recipe Tips
- Use a high-speed blender. It makes the creamiest, smoothest drinks.
- Make it pretty. Top your smoothie with a fresh sliced strawberry or perch a whole strawberry on the rim of your glass to make your strawberry yogurt smoothie feel extra special.
- Turn it into a smoothie bowl. Use less liquid to make a thick smoothie base. Then pour it into a bowl and top with your favorite nuts, seeds, and dried fruit.
Serving Ideas
- On-the-Go Breakfast: Oatmeal Banana Bread, Egg Muffins, Honey Nut Cereal Bars
- Toast: Cottage Cheese Toast, Avocado Toast with Egg, Vegan French Toast
- Light Lunch: Green Goddess Salad, Watermelon Cucumber Salad, Beet Orange Salad
