Pizza Lunchable Ingredients
- Flatbread: I like to use mini naan dippers. Any small flatbread will work.
- Pizza sauce: Use your favorite pizza sauce or marinara sauce.
- Cheese: I love to use mozzarella, but any shredded cheese works.
- Toppings: In my Lunchables recipe, I like to use cherry tomatoes, green bell peppers, and black olives. Use your favorite veggies and/or meat toppings!

Recipe Variations
- Try a different sauce. Pesto, Alfredo sauce, or BBQ sauce are good swaps.
- Switch up the base. For a more substantial pizza Lunchable, pack mini bagels, bagel thins, or English muffin halves.
- Make a dessert pizza Lunchable. Use Nutella or cream cheese as the sauce, and fruit, nuts, and M&Ms or mini chocolate chips as the toppings.
Recipe Tips
- Think mini. Choose veggies and toppings that you can chop into small pieces so the pizzas are easy to eat.
- Use a cookie cutter to cut flatbread. If you can’t find mini naans or flatbreads, use a round cookie cutter to cut larger ones into bite-sized rounds.
- Separate the toppings with small containers. I recommend putting the pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings in individual containers with lids to keep them fresh and avoid spills. You can also use cupcake liners.
- Pack the Lunchable with a small spoon. It makes spreading the sauce and piling on the toppings easier on-the-go.
FAQs
These DIY pizza Lunchables don’t need to be refrigerated for school and they can last at room temperature for a few hours. If refrigerated, they’ll last 3–4 days.
It’s up to you! It’s easiest to serve it cold, especially if you’re packing a school lunch. If you’re serving the Lunchable at home, you can warm up the naan or microwave the pizzas for a few seconds to melt the cheese a little.
