3-Ingredient Mango Sorbet

Mango sorbet is easily in my top three dairy-free frozen desserts. I can never seem to find one in stores that I actually love; they’re either too sweet, too icy, or taste a little artificial, so I finally decided to make my own mango sorbet this year, and I have been obsessed with a capital O!
As in, I’m a little embarrassed to admit I’ve made this mango sorbet three out of the last four weeks, but once you try it, you’ll get it…. you’ve been warned.
It’s just frozen mango, honey, and lime juice blended until smooth, and it’s soooo good. Most of the time I eat it straight from the blender while it’s soft, but if I have the patience, I’ll freeze it for a couple hours so it’s more scoopable.
Happy Cooking!

Mango Sorbet Ingredients

- Frozen mango: Use pre-cut frozen mango chunks for less prep. You can either buy pre-frozen or freeze your own.
- Lime juice: Freshly squeezed is best; bottled lime juice can taste flat.
- Honey: You can swap in maple syrup or agave for a vegan version.
How to Make Mango Sorbet

Mango Sorbet Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 (10-ounce) bags frozen mango chunks (about 4 cups)
- ¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- ¼ cup honey
Instructions
- Spread the frozen mango on a plate and let it sit at room temperature for 4–5 minutes until the edges soften slightly.
- Add the mango, lime juice, and honey to a high-speed blender or food processor. Blend, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed, until the mixture is smooth and creamy (about 1–2 minutes). If the machine struggles, pause for another minute so the fruit softens a bit more rather than adding liquid.
- Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture, or transfer to a shallow container, press parchment directly onto the surface, cover, and freeze for 3-4 hours until scoopable. Let it sit on the counter for 3–4 minutes before scooping.

My daughter and I just made this and we had to taste test it right away. She said, “so good”! โบ๏ธ It tastes so fresh and light!
Aww, love that! So happy you both liked it!! Thanks, Jill!
Even easier: get a can of whatever fruit and freeze it, as is, in the can. When frozen remove the content and blend it. There you’ve got your fruit sorbet, no need to add anything else!
That’s true! Personally, I like adding a little bit of sweetener and citrus to help bring out the flavor of the mango.
Used ripened mangos for this and it was super delicious. The perfect treat for a super hot day (or any day, really). The whole family loved it. Tried a couple of bites with tajin, which made it even more special.
Ooh yum, love that! Tajin sounds like a great addition! Thanks, Alex!!
