During my childhood in Lebanese communities in Sierra Leone and Michigan, I grew up eating home-cooked meals with many ingredients made from scratch. It looks intimidating and time-consuming! When we moved to the United States I started learning from my mom how to incorporate Mediterranean flavors and learned time-saving shortcuts to prepare traditional, Middle Eastern recipes, or upgrade simple meals like chicken or pasta. As an adult, I started my blog Feel Good Foodie to make healthy cooking easy. Now, in my first cookbook, I share simple delicious meals enhanced by Mediterranean flavors.
