Golden Milk Turmeric Latte
Make this Golden Milk Turmeric Latte with only milk and spices - easy to make, loaded with antioxidants & anti-inflammatory benefits!

- 3 cups almond milk or milk of choice
- 1 ½ teaspoons ground turmeric
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon plus more for sprinkling
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger or 1 teaspoon fresh grated
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil optional
In a small saucepan, whisk together the milk, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper. Place over medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer, whisking often. Do not let it boil.
Once warmed through and spices are dissolved, remove from heat. Stir in honey and coconut oil, if using. Strain to remove the grated ginger, if desired.
Pour into mugs and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon before serving.
Turmeric Sourcing: You can buy turmeric powder at any grocery store or health food stores. There’s no need to make sure it’s organic, but it’s always better if you can opt for organic.
Storage: You can make a big batch of this. and store in your fridge in an airtight jar for up to 5 days. Then just warm up a portion in the microwave when you’re ready to drink.

8 ounces almond milk
2 ounces espresso
2 teaspoons honey
1 teaspoon turmeric
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
Pinch cayenne pepper optional
Instructions
In a microwave safe mug, heat the almond milk for about 1 minute, or to your desired temperature.
Add a fresh shot of espresso or concentrated coffee to the warmed almond milk.
Whisk in the honey, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger and cayenne pepper, if using. You can also use a milk frother, and froth for a couple minutes until you reach your desired froth level. Garnish with cinnamon and enjoy immediately!
