Air Fryer Steak

- 2 Ribeye or New York Strip steaks about 1-inch thickness
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
Allow the steaks to come to room temperature for 30 minutes.
Then pat them dry with a paper towel. Rub the steak with olive oil and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Arrange a single layer of the steaks in the air fryer basket and air fry for 5 minutes, then flip and air fry for 5-7 more minutes, until cooked through, and internal temperature reaches between 135°F for medium rare or 150°F for medium well.
Add the salted butter on top and allow the steak to rest for 5 minutes. Slice and serve with a side of your choice
