Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2-3 tablespoons whole milk
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar optional

Instructions

  • Place the cream cheese in a mixing bowl or bowl of a stand mixer with the whisk attachment. Beat the cream cheese for 1 minute.
  • Gradually beat in the milk one tablespoon at a time until light and fluffy, scraping down the sides as needed. It will look like frosting when it is done.

Notes

Storage: Store the whipped cream cheese in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. If it is too firm to spread, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before using. You can also give it a quick whip to restore the light and fluffy texture.
