Ingredients

Standard Spice Jar

  • 2 tablespoons white sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons black sesame seeds
  • 1 ½ tablespoons dried minced garlic
  • 1 ½ tablespoons dried minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon flaky sea salt

Single Serving

  • ½ teaspoon white sesame seeds
  • ½ teaspoon black sesame seeds
  • ½ teaspoon dried minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon dried minced onion
  • ½ teaspoon poppy seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon flaky sea salt or to taste

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients: white sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, dried minced garlic, dried minced onion, poppy seeds, and flaky sea salt.
  • Transfer the mixed seasoning to an airtight container or a small jar and use as desired.

Notes

Storage: Transfer the seasoning blend to a small jar or an airtight container to prevent air and moisture and store in the kitchen cabinet, away from direct sunlight or heat. For best flavor, use it within 3 months. And make sure it's tightly sealed after each use to prevent moisture, as that can cause the garlic and onion flakes to clump up.
