Start your day with celery water! This easy celery juice recipe has just two ingredients: celery and green apples to sweeten the taste a bit.
Prep Time5 minutes mins
Total Time5 minutes mins
Servings: 2 servings
- 1 large bunch celery chopped
- 3 green apples chopped, seeds removed
Thoroughly wash and prep the celery and apples.
Push the celery and apples through the juicer. Alternate between the two so the flavors mix well together. You should get between 16 and 20 ounces.
Serve immediately for maximum health benefits.
My Top Tip: Clean the celery well, even if it's organic. Rinse it with cold water and rub your fingers along every surface of the stalk until it's scrubbed clean. The bottom will be especially dirty since it's the root of the vegetable.
Storage: The celery juice benefits and nutrition are best when it's fresh. But you can store leftovers in an airtight mason jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
Freezing: You can freeze celery juice, but it's more nutritious when it's fresh.
