Avocado Crema

Silky, smooth lime avocado crema made with Greek yogurt, fresh avo, lime, and garlic. A delicious sauce for tacos, burritos, bowls, and more!

Ingredients

  • 2 avocados
  • ½ cup plain whole milk yogurt
  • 1 large lime zested and juiced
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth with no lumps, scraping sides down as needed.
  • Serve as desired and transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Notes

Recipe makes about 1 1/2 cups, with 1/4 cup per serving.
Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Press plastic wrap on the surface to prevent browning. Freeze in small freezer safe zip-top bags for up to 3 months, thawing in the fridge before using.
