Waldorf Salad Recipe

Greek Yogurt Waldorf Salad with diced chicken, red grapes, celery, apples, and walnuts in a lemon yogurt dressing.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 lemon zest and juice
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast diced
  • 3 celery stalks diced
  • 1 cup red seedless grapes halved
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 green apple diced
  • green leaf lettuce for serving

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together yogurt, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Add chicken, celery, grapes, walnuts and apple and fold until everything is evenly coated.
  • Serve over a bed of green leaf lettuce.

Notes

My Top Tip: Chill your salad before serving! I like to pop my Waldorf salad in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to help the flavors meld together.
Storage: You can store your Waldorf salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. When you're ready to eat, just give a quick stir to incorporate some of the released juices from the apples and grapes.
