Frankenguac Recipe
Frankenguac is a fun way to serve guacamole during Halloween! It only takes 15 minutes to make with simple pantry ingredients.
Prep Time15 minutes mins
Total Time15 minutes mins
Servings: 6 servings
- 3 avocados halved and peeled
- 2 tablespoon lime juice
- ¼ teaspoon Kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ¼ cup onions finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons cilantro chopped
- 1 garlic clove minced
- Tortilla chips for decorating and serving
- Sour cream for decorating
- Black olives and black beans for decorating
Place the avocado and lime juice in a large bowl and mash together with the back of a fork. Season with salt and cumin and continue to mash together. Fold in the onions, cilantro, and garlic.
Spread the guacamole into a rectangle and decorate with tortilla chips, sour cream, black beans, and olives.
- My Top Tip: Avoid "instant" avocado ripening hacks. They'll make your avocados soft, but the flavor won't be the same.
- Storage: The Frankenguac is best when it's fresh. If you want to store it in the fridge for a day or two, cover it with a piece of plastic wrap and press down so it touches the guacamole. This usually prevents it from browning. If browning does happen, scrape the browned layer off before serving.
