Baked Asparagus Recipe

Baked asparagus is easy to make on a sheet pan in the oven. Choose thin stalks, toss in olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and bake until tender.

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the asparagus on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil on top and season with garlic, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to toss the asparagus until they are evenly coated with the oil and seasonings. Arrange the asparagus into a single layer on the baking sheet.
  • Bake the asparagus for 15-17 minutes, or until they are tender but still crisp. The exact cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of your asparagus spears. Serve with Hollandaise sauce, if desired.

Notes

Storage: This asparagus will definitely taste best eaten right away, but it can be kept in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge. You can reheat it in the microwave, oven, or air fryer.
