Chocolate Granola
This homemade Chocolate Granola is the perfect sweet treat made with rolled oats, flaxseeds, cocoa powder and sweet chunks of dark chocolate!

rolled oats

flaxseeds

honey

dark chocolate

Instructions
Preheat oven to 275°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the coconut oil, honey, vanilla, cocoa powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir until a smooth paste forms.
Fold in the oats and flaxseeds. Mix until all the chocolate paste is well distributed and coats all the oats.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer.
Bake for 50 minutes, stirring once at about 30 minutes in to redistribute the oats.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chopped chocolate over the top. Stir slightly (just a couple of swirls) to form some clusters.
Allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container at room temperature. Makes about 6 cups.

Store the cut granola in an airtight container at room temperature. It will keep well for up to a month.
