Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl until well combined.
  • Store for up to 6 months in a cool dry place.

Notes

  • My Top Tip: Use fresh spices. A good indicator that they are old and stale is to take a pinch of the spice and rub it between your fingertips. If the scent is weak and the flavor is subtle and bland, then it's probably time to replace it.
  • Storage: Keep homemade pumpkin pie spice in a cool dark place in a container with a tight-fitting lid to retain the most flavor and potency. When stored properly, pumpkin pie spice can generally keep for up to 2 years.
