It's has a crispy topping of crunchy panko

The velvety cheese sauce is so creamy thanks to a blend of gruyere and cheddar cheese!

Easy recipe for 2 or 10! 

INGREDIENTS

▢ elbow macaroni   ▢ unsalted butter ▢ flour ▢ 2% milk  ▢ Dijon  mustard ▢ salt and pepper ▢ shredded cheddar ▢ shredded gruyere ▢ crushed tomatoes ▢ panko breadcrumbs ▢ fresh parsley

STEP 1

the pasta in a large pot pot of salted water until al dente.

STEP 2

the butter in a large saucepan, then add some flour to make a roux.

melt

STEP 3

the Dijon mustard and salt and pepper followed by the milk and finally the cheeses.

add

STEP 4

the sauce until the cheese is melted and everything is smooth.

stir

STEP 5

in the pasta until it's completely coated with the creamy cheese sauce.

toss

STEP 6

 into individual ramekin dishes or a large baking dish and top with crunchy panko breadcrumbs before baking.
