Servings 8 servings
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup whole wheat white flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chocolate chunks optional
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a round 8 inch baking pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: oil, sugar, and vanilla; then beat in the eggs.
In another medium bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients using a spatula until well blended and then fold in the chocolate chunks.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the batter pulls away from pan's edges. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes, cut into triangles and then decorate into little reindeer as shown in the video.
