Reindeer Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat white flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chunks optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a round 8 inch baking pan.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: oil, sugar, and vanilla; then beat in the eggs.
  • In another medium bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
  • Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients using a spatula until well blended and then fold in the chocolate chunks.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the batter pulls away from pan's edges. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes, cut into triangles and then decorate into little reindeer as shown in the video.

Storage: Store any leftovers in an airtight container. They will last about 5-7 days in the fridge.
