CHEESY GOUDA SCALLOPED POTATOES

INDULGENT SIDE DISH

▢ butter ▢ shallots ▢ garlic ▢ all purpose flour ▢ milk ▢ fresh thyme ▢ salt ▢black pepper ▢ yukon potatoes ▢ parmesan cheese ▢ gouda cheese

INGREDIENTS

STEP 1

the butter and add the shallots and garlic

melt

STEP 2

until translucent and fragrant

cook

STEP 3

the flour and stir with a wooden spoon until combined

add

STEP 4

the milk and thyme to the pot, stir to combine

add

STEP 5

half of the sliced potatoes in the baking dish

layer

STEP 6

with the cheesy sauce mixture followed by half of the parmesan cheese and gouda cheese

top

STEP 7

the remaining potato slices, and top with the rest of the milk mixture and gouda cheese

add

STEP 8

until potatoes are cooked through and the cheese is golden brown

bake

Serve warm and garnish with fresh thyme!
