FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
This Cooking Challenge is a fun way for us to join together and cook the recipe of the month! It also allows us to collect feedback from all of you on your experience with the recipe, changes you’d make, ingredients you’d add, and more. It helps you get in the kitchen and try something new!
We’ll announce the Cooking Challenge at the start of the month on all social channels and in our Facebook Group. You will have until the last few days of the month to make the recipe and leave a rating with a comment on the recipe on feelgoodfoodie.net. At the end of the month, we’ll share photos of some of your creations and announce a winner of a grand prize gift of a $100 gift card to Amazon.
To enter the challenge, leave a rating and comment on the recipe card. You can also share photos of your creations on Instagram Stories using #feelgoodfoodie and tagging @feelgoodfoodie or in our Facebook group.
JULY’S RECIPE: ALMOND JOY ICE CREAM
We’re embracing the heat of the summer with this Almond Joy Ice Cream recipe. Almond Joy Ice Cream is a vegan recipe that’s made with a few simple ingredients in a blender or food processor. No churning or fancy ingredients necessary! If you’re not a fan of almond, no problem! Use your favorite extract like vanilla or peppermint and let us know how it turns out!
We believe in spreading love and kindness however we can. We’re going to give $1.00 for every recipe rating to Share Our Strength and No Kid Hungry this month. Their mission statement is: “Share Our Strength’s mission is to end hunger and poverty in the U.S. and abroad. We’re doing this through our campaigns, like No Kid Hungry, which will end childhood hunger in the United States, and Cooking Matters, which helps low-income families learn to shop and cook healthier.”
