We’ll announce the Cooking Challenge at the start of the month on all social channels and in our Facebook Group. August’s RECIPE: mediterranean chicken salad
Let’s enjoy the final days of summer with this refreshing and flavorful Mediterranean Chicken Salad. Fresh, delicious and perfect for a warm weather meal, this grilled Mediterranean chicken salad is perfect for a quick and easy weeknight meal. Seasoned chicken breast is quickly grilled and added to a healthy salad, before being drizzled with a zingy and tangy dressing.
you can swap out the chicken!
You can easily make this salad with other proteins like steak, shrimp or salmon. The recipe pretty much remains the same, but the cooking times will vary slightly depending on what you use. Tofu, plant-based chicken or chickpea bites would work great too for vegetarian options.
We believe in spreading love and kindness however we can. We’re going to give $1.00 for every recipe rating to Share Our Strength and No Kid Hungry this month. Their mission statement is: “Share Our Strength’s mission is to end hunger and poverty in the U.S. and abroad. We’re doing this through our campaigns, like No Kid Hungry, which will end childhood hunger in the United States, and Cooking Matters, which helps low-income families learn to shop and cook healthier.”
Thank you all for joining us on the August Cooking Challenge! You helped us generate over 154 recipe ratings so we’re donating $154 to No Kid Hungry! We randomly selected Nasrin as our gift card winner and our team will be in touch through email to get you your gift.
